TRANSCENDENT LUST

Why I hate discontinuity

I came home early and there
She was to meet me okay
I came home early and she
Smelled like a horse rider

I walked into the office
My boss was in his chair
Naked and asleep
I walked into my office on
An ordinary afternoon he was
Naked and breathing softly

There was a little fire in
The corner going nowhere

I put down my viola da gamba
And looked into the camera

I hate ellipses and I hate
Chapter breaks I love my
Eyelids the gasoline of
Czech photography hurricane
Of any Russian prose

Anything that reassures me
That variation is dangerous
