In the tube
The noise is trains
Not ground support
The world cup
Goes on as planned

Assimilation waits
For no man,
AKA the wondering hero

What do bananas
And the hidden vice president
Have in common?

Clocks everywhere
But not a second to think

The preliminaries
Not a nickel to spare

Done on the wall
Every twenty yards
And every now and then
A nope

If they could look at the news
The way they critique
Celebrities in evening dress

What color smoke
Do the ballots make?

What being original
Meant throughout history
