From space it looks like I have a feeling a day.
That's me up there in geosynchronous orbit
Locked over me as if there were a pencil going
Back and forth like a needle through the cloth
Of the clouds. The clouds make emotions
Shimmery which is why planes poke them.
Dogs are cute and fluffy plus I like to burn them
Is a line of Doug Allen's comic character Steven's.
When I write poems where I talk about feelings
I think of Steven more often than I think of
The author of In Memory of My Theories,
Though truth be told I do think of him too.
