Taking the weather by the name
I run down the steps of the Capitol,
The confounding situation -- I'm excited
And a little hurt by the vague treatment
From the clog-wearing aide to the assistant.
It's night early and I need a vendor
To get me some status, but the fact is
It takes pleasure in its ringtone, my phone,
And keeps malfunctioning just to sing it.
There are dozens of us, each assigned
To separate longstanding progress
But what we really do is stand between
The light and those who can't be burned.
