HAWAIIAN SAYINGS

Friends of mine
Moved to Hawaii
And wrote poems.

"Fuck you,
Aloha,
I love you,"
One of them went.

And "Dear Dad,
I'm sending you
Into space now,"
Not a direct quote.

Here in New York
We have a saying:
"Can I help you?"
And another:
"Have a great day."

We also like to say
"Have a good one"
And "Hang in there."

Half of my friends
Who moved to Hawaii
Moved back
To California
All at once.
