Looking out across the river
The couch, the card table,
Neighbors need not ensconce
Telescopes on balconies.

The sleep is a bookmark
In the feasibility study,
Monks are playing soccer
With breeders of minks.

I mean they’re welcome to look
And learn, but only God
Et cetera. Fun, absolute fun,
