INVISIBLE POEM #4
Tonight is so pale
Then we argue
With the next thought
Clearing the monsters
The sitcoms
The rocksongs
From the slopes where they fall
Winter spring and
Foot massage
The likely story shining
O how we press ourselves
Against the face
And to what end
He's got windex in his veins
When the crowds arrive
The fare goes up
So buy your tickets early
I believe that your words
Are sincere but they still
Don't automatically glow in the dark
Daily rehearsal
The map wants to be scratched
Nail file
When you get to the service station
Make a left on Goose Rd
Go about three miles until
You get to Rt 131
Bring a corsage and a kneaded eraser
Practice your head off
Climb the knotted rope without using
Your legs
Or give into the holiday
The manners won't repeat
