POEM ABOUT BEING PLAYED

The next time I take a job with the promise
Of access, visibility, and opportunities,
I will do my Cuba Gooding Jr. impression
(Mentally) until I have what I need to get by.
In the meantime I'm getting good at Texas Hold 'Em.
